I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! December was such a fun month for us. We finished our science unit on land and water. The unit ended with our "Dam Project". The science groups had to build a dam that would prevent their land from flooding. All groups did a great job! We also had a fun time carolling at Autumn Fields, Oak Creek, and Helping Hearts.
January is going to be quite a busy month for us. We just started our new unit in math today. Unit 5 is on measurements. Students will be learning about different types of measurements as well as how to convert measurements. For the month of January, we also will be doing a unit on biographies in reading. Each student is reading a biography on a well known person. Later on we will be learning about how to write biographies. Later this month we will be finishing our social studies unit on Wisconsin and going on to other parts of the country.
