In November, as a class, we really focused on what we're thankful for. Some of us were thankful for our families and friends while others were thankful for things such as our troops and veterans, pets, snow, etc. We had meaningful conversations on how we shouldn't just pray for things we want or need, but we also should be thanking God for the things we do have in our lives.
We all could agree that we're thankful for the wonderful field trip we took in November and the nice weather that came with it! The 4th grade class had a fabulous time with 3rd and 5th grade at Heritage Hill. We learned about the Native Americans with the fur trade. We also learned about Fort Howard.
We continued to learn about Fort Howard and the Native Americans in social studies throughout November. We also focused on globes and maps. The 4th grade loved making their paper mache globes!
In December, we look forward to learning about Advent. We also are starting our new Einstein Kit on Electricity. This Friday (December 4th) we will be having a Unit 3 math test. Instead of starting a whole new unit right away before the break, we will be reviewing multiplication and division fluency in the classroom.
I hope you all have a safe and wonderful Christmas!
